That was so interesting and reminded me again of how my anxious state affects my anxious dog! Will have to improve….
Wonderful video – thank you!
Hi James,
What a wonderfully magical experience.
If anything shows that we need to relax and be patient with our animals this does.
Thank you James, for sharing it.
Dear James,
I am so pleased to see the new video, I missed some of the important moments as I was concentrating on holding the camera still and making sure I didn’t drop it. So glad I didn’t ! Watching it again is fantastic as it has allowed me to see so clearly the impact from using the Trust Technique. I’m looking forward to the two day course in December.
Kind Regards
That was brilliant James = thanks very much!!
Thanks for sharing. It looks so natural
James. that was so moving. I will definitely be sharing this with others. I hope that one day in the not too distant future you will be returning to Ireland. Thanks for sharing these magic moments between you and Arthur.
A beautiful video James and Arthur, how lovely to be able to help these beautiful creatures heal past memories in such a simple way, it is true that simplicity is best
I can’t wait to spend some time with you
Thankyou
I really enjoyed the short vide James. It just shows how our emotions are entwined with the animal. It will make me think twice about how I approach my animals and to always remain calm submissive. Energy levels are so important. Thanks.
What a precious moment. Thank you for sharing.Beautiful!
Thanks so much James. Took me back to that day about a year ago at Reese Heath Equine Centre. We were freezing, but didn’t feel it as we were sharing peaceful and very special moments with the horses there. One of the most memorable times of my life. Since then I’ve used this technique all the time when with the animals I go to help at Animals in Distress sanctuary. In particular there was a feral cat that we were looking after until her broken toes healed sufficiently for her to return (they actually found a great feral colony on an allotment, where the cats are taken care of and fed properly). Having been feral all her life, she was especially anxious around people, so I’d just sit for a quiet half hour with her, just outside her cage, and she’d start to shut her eyes and purr. From time to time I’d talk to her in a quiet voice, share my thoughts and feelings with her, and could see she was listening. Although she was the most relaxed she could possibly be with a person, she still wasn’t ready to share her experiences with me, and I didn’t push her. But I know that these quiet, healing moments helped her to get well enough again to return to the outdoors. Such a simple technique, but so powerful! Keep up the great work, James (and Shelly). Much love to you both. xx
James,
Have just watched Arthur, stunning. Would like to share something with you so will E. mail.
You are very gifted James, and it’s a pleasure to see you using that gift to help
those horses. Would love to see more of your work.
Hopefully it will remind us just how much our animals have to cope with when living with humans.
What a wonderful footage of this lovley connection you have with animals. It reminded me so much of your visit to me to see Buddy and how you helped me connect better with him to help him with his last few days with me!
Thankyou for reminding me how healing the the work you do is so valuable to our animals and to ourselves both emotionally and physically and how easy it is for us all to do this (once taught) if we would just clear our minds for a short while from the hum drum of our busy lives!
thanks for sharing the conversations you have with animals⦠it really shows us how they view thingsā¦
Hi James,
I have been saving the link which you recently sent regarding additional footage until I could watch it properly on new computer – how fantastic and so inspiring! Thank you – I am truly astonished by the work.
